Where can I store a boat near Norwalk, CA?
RV Storage Depot Norwalk, at 13555 Excelsior Drive, stores boats in indoor valet, outdoor valet and outdoor self-park spaces from 7×15 to 10×50. To go indoors a boat has to be 13′ tall or lower, because our indoor doors are 14′ and we want a foot of clearance.

Find your size
Measure the boat on its trailer, from the back of the outboard or swim platform to the tip of the coupler. Use that number, not the hull length from the brochure. Add 3′ to back in and close up, and that's the shortest space to ask for. A boat that's 22′ on its trailer needs at least 25′: a 10×25, which all three types list.
Width doesn't rule a boat out. Valet spaces are 10′ wide and our team does the positioning, and self-park spaces run 7′ to 12′. If the beam is over 8′ 6″, call the office to confirm the best space.
Height decides whether indoor works. Measure from the ground to the highest point with the boat on its trailer: the tower, an antenna or a rack. If it's over 13′ and the tower folds, measure again with it folded. Outdoor spaces have no door, and the covered ones sit under a high canopy. Measure it the way we do walks through all three numbers.
Which one we'd pick
If your boat has a tower, or you just want it under a roof, start with indoor valet. It's out of the sun and weather, and our team parks it. That works when the boat is 13′ or lower on its trailer, with any folding tower down. If it's taller, outdoor valet still has our team parking it.
Most other boats should start outdoors with self-park. You tow it in and back it into your space yourself. If you'd rather not back a trailer in every trip, outdoor valet does that part for you.

FAQ
Can I store a boat indoors in Norwalk?
Yes, in indoor valet at RV Storage Depot Norwalk, in spaces from 10×15 to 10×50. The boat has to be 13′ tall or lower, because our indoor doors are 14′ and we want a foot of clearance. Measure it on its trailer to the highest point. Over 13′ with a tower that folds? Measure it folded.
What size storage space does my boat need?
Measure it on its trailer, from the back of the outboard or swim platform to the tip of the coupler, then add 3′ to back in and close up. That's the shortest space to ask for. A boat that's 22′ on its trailer needs at least 25′, so a 10×25.
What's the difference between valet and self-park?
With self-park, you tow the boat in and back it into your space yourself. With valet, our team parks it. Give the office 24 hours' notice and it's pulled to the staging area, ready during business hours. At RV Storage Depot Norwalk, valet comes indoor or outdoor, and self-park is outdoor.
Is my boat too wide for a 10-foot space?
Not on its own. Width doesn't rule a boat out at RV Storage Depot Norwalk. Valet spaces are 10′ wide and our team positions the boat. Self-park spaces run 7′ to 12′ wide. If the beam is over 8′ 6″, call the office to confirm the best space.
