What size storage space does a MasterCraft X Star 25 need?

A MasterCraft X Star 25 needs a storage space at least 31′ 7″ long, so a 35-foot space fits it and a 32 fits only tight. That length is our estimate, because MasterCraft, which writes the name as one word, XStar 25, doesn't publish how long the boat is on its trailer.

How we got to 31′ 7″

Start with the length on the trailer, not the brochure length. MasterCraft lists the hull at 25′ 7″ and doesn't list a trailer length, so we add 3′ for the trailer frame and tongue. That's about 28′ 7″ hitched up. Then we add 3′ so you can back in and close up without kissing the wall. 28′ 7″ plus 3′ is 31′ 7″.

Because the trailer number is an estimate, measure yours before you book. For a boat, that's from the back of the swim platform to the tip of the trailer coupler, not the hull length on the brochure.

Width doesn't rule a boat out. At 102″, the X Star 25 is right at 8′ 6″, and a 10′-wide space leaves about 1½′ beside it. If yours measures wider, or the trailer fenders stick out past the beam, call the office to confirm the best space.

Indoor works at its listed height

MasterCraft lists the X Star 25 at 11′ 3″ tall. At RV Storage Depot – Norwalk and RV Storage Depot – Altamonte Springs, it's a 14′ door; your vehicle must be 13′ or lower. At its listed height, the X Star 25 clears that door with 2′ 9″ to spare. RV Storage Depot – McClellan Park has no indoor height limit.

MasterCraft publishes one height figure and doesn't say whether it's tower up or tower down. Measure the boat on its trailer to the highest point before you book indoor. Over 13′ with a tower that folds? Measure it folded. Still over 13′? RV Storage Depot – McClellan Park has no indoor height limit.
